Terms & Conditions at the Quayside Hotel

All Rates include VAT at the current rate.

All bookings must be guaranteed by a major credit card, by payment of a deposit or by agreement with a company, travel agent or hotel booking agency. At the discretion of the Hotel, full payment may be required in advance. At least 3 working days are required to process credit and debit card payments and 5 days are required to process cheques. All non credit accounts must be settled prior to departure from the Hotel. Credit accounts may be set up provided a completed credit application is made and approved by the Hotel. Credit accounts must be paid within 30 days from the date of the invoice.

Rooms may be cancelled without charge provided 48 hours notice of cancellation is given. If cancelled within 48 hours of the booking date one night’s accommodation will be charged at the pre booked rate for Bed and Breakfast Guests and 80% of the pre-booked rate for Dinner Bed and Breakfast Guests.

Conference and Function bookings may be cancelled without charge provided 5 working days notice of cancellation is given. Otherwise the full amount will be charged. Conference and Function food and Equipment must be pre ordered at least 5 working days prior to the event. This will also be subject to the 5 working day cancellation procedure.

Normal Check in time is 2pm and check out is 11am. There may be occasions when guests can check in and use Hotel facilities whilst the bedroom is still being prepared.

Our private car park is situated approx 350 yards from the Hotel and is controlled by an ANPR camera system. Guest are requested to park outside the Hotel as usual to check in and register their car. The staff will then give directions to the car park. Unregistered vehicles will be liable to a fine issued by Parking Eye.  The hotel does not accept any responsibility for damage to, or theft from, or theft of parked vehicles.

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Hotel except certain specified guest bedrooms.

The Hotel reserves the right to terminate a booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund in the event of behaviour considered by Management to be unacceptable.

No wines, spirits or beers may be brought into the Hotel by clients, their guests or representatives for consumption on the premises without the express consent of the Hotel for which a charge may be made.

The person/Company making the booking will be responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests and will be charged for rectification.

Other than death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Hotel, the Hotels liability to the client is limited to the price of the booking.

The Hotel reserves the right to change prices at any time.

The Hotel does not accept any liability for loss or damage to guest’s property except to the extent covered under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.
